Culinary Arts, Associate of Science Degree
The Keiser University Center for Culinary Arts - AS Degree in Culinary Arts program has a comprehensive curriculum that includes American regional, French, and international cuisine, food service production, food service sanitation, nutrition, stock and sauces, dining room management, introduction to baking and pastry, storeroom operations and meat cutting. The program is accredited by the American Culinary Federation. Curriculum includes solid academics plus practical experience in fully-equipped kitchens. Hands-on training is provided by faculty with extensive food industry experience.

Baking & Pastry Arts, Associate of Science Degree
The Keiser University Center for Culinary Arts - AS degree in Baking and Pastry Arts provides instruction in the art and science of baking. Students use a variety of tools and equipment to produce items such as quick breads, yeast breads, cakes, frozen desserts, centerpieces, candies, cookies and various pastries. Students also study proper foodservice sanitation, supervisory procedures and nutrition. Curriculum includes solid academics plus practical experience in fully-equipped kitchens. Hands-on training is provided by faculty with extensive food industry experience.

There are thousands of bakery-specific jobs - in bakeries, restaurants, theme parks, grocery stores, hotels, commercial bakeries, country clubs, department stores, and more.


Graduates of either program will be prepared to work in positions in full-service restaurants, hotels, clubs and resorts, catering companies, corporate restaurants, health spas, cruise ships, private homes, and the entertainment industry.
